Exciting Opportunity for all UK NNA members who are Neonatal nurses.

Editorial on the NNA

The Neonatal Nurses Association is now in a position to recruit the following category of neonatal nurses onto the NNA Executive:

A BAND 5 / 6 NEONATAL NURSE, POST QIS: A nurse who can demonstrate a passion for the care of infants and their family. The applicant should be keen to have an opportunity to contribute to the development and advancement of neonatal nursing at a national and international level, and regularly represent their peers at executive meetings.

A BAND 7 / 8A LEAD / CLINICAL MANAGER:
Someone who is a strong leader and advocate for the care of infants and their family. The applicant should be keen to have an opportunity to contribute to the development and advancement of neonatal nursing at a national and international level, and regularly represent their peers at NNA meetings.

AN ANNP WITH A STRONG CLINICAL ROLE:
And an advocate for the holistic role of the ANNP in terms of the 4 pillars of practice: Clinical practice; Leadership; Facilitation of learning; Evidence based research and development .The applicant should be keen to have an opportunity to contribute to the development and advancement of neonatal nursing at a national and international level, and regularly represent their peers at the NNA meetings.

1. Terms of reference for the NNA includes a commitment to regularly attend the NNA executive meetings 4 times per year, the AGM and yearly conference.
2. A decision will be made at the annual AGM 17th November 2017 where the NNA executive will nominate them following short listing.
3. Reasonable travel expenses to and from meetings will be reimbursed.
